Karin Weber Gallery request the the pleasure of your company to view new works by Xue Mo. by Xue Mo.
This body of work persists in Xue Mo’s exploration of the secrets and charm of the Mongolian person. Xue says that although she grew up in Mongolia, she dOes not yet understand the “soft that lies under the strong and distinct Faces”.
She questions its origin tirelessly: is it the landscapes with their huge stretches of grasslands, mystical mountains and deep winter snows? Or the country’s aggressive and alluring past? Maybe the secret lies simply in the strong Mongolian tea!
“I don’t know” Xue confesses, “but I will keep exploring it in my works, and collect it in my heart as well as my body forever.”
